dkafterdark:Shout out to one of my favorite book series: Gives Light by Rose Christo! This series is about Skylar St. Clair and Rafael Gives Light, two teens who have been marked by a shared tragedy. It’s a beautiful series about love, forgiveness, and redemption. It’s also one of the most diverse series I’ve read: Skylar is mute, Rafael is Shoshone and the majority of the story is set on a Shoshone reservation in Arizona, and both boys are gay. I originally found this book because it was recommended to fans of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. -- source link
