kisselexy: kisselexy:kisselexy: kisselexy: Four years of (hobby) art summaries!For work I draw designs for products which feels a lot different from the kind of drawings I really enjoy making during my free time…As you can see I like trying new things and I’m not very strict or linear in any way when it comes to my subjects or techniques (I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing). However, it is still very clear I prefer drawing human/anthropomorphic characters and situations involving them.My goal is to get better at drawing character emotions & actions, scenery and more dynamic images overall. I really enjoy storytelling, hence my dream is to be able to make better comics <3! I’m very happy I’ve started making short comics now and then these days despite I’m not very good, seeing I can do it helps build my self confidence. I feel genuinely happy/enthusiastic when working on comic projects.If any of you use to fill in these forms annually too, please share them! Progress is fun :3! Because of my foam/plastic allergy that has hindered me from working on fursuits like I used to, 2018 has been a VERY productive year illustration-wise, I’ve designed many plush toys and spent a lot of time working on animation/comics!I’ve probably learnt more technical stuff about drawing in 2018 than any other year. I’m very happy about how far I’ve gotten and I hope I can keep drawing and learn as much or more in 2019(…but also get back to sewing…)!! ANOTHER YEAR ANOTHER MEMEThis year I did a lot of comic and fursuit-related stuff! I actually didn’t have anything to put for March, so I took an image drawn the last day of February. 2019 was my last year as Theming/Decoration lead at NordicFuzzCon, and leaving that behind gave me a lot of extra time to draw, sew, read and write.My first longer comic (31 pages, not yet posted) got done in October and I’m doing my best to finish all of the Fursuit Commission items that’ve been on hold due to allergy since way back. In 2020 a lot is happening, I might finally become a parent among other things, but I will try my best to stay active and keep drawing as always. I really love drawing, especially telling stories, so I hope I can keep doing more of that in the future uwu! YET AGAIN ITS MEME TIME!!2020 sucked pretty tremendously for me as it did for most people, but I got a lot of good things done and I finally mustered up the energy to practice different coloring methods. I hope to keep practicing both painting, drawing as well as finishing up other art-related side-Quests in 2021. It will be a bit difficult because I’m currently in the third trimester with a baby arriving in March- but we’ll see how goes…!! I have high hopes. It would also be nice to make more videos but meh :/… priorities. -- source link
