I want to be a voice for the girls were raped and never got justice. It happens, it happens to often
I want to be a voice for the girls were raped and never got justice. It happens, it happens to often to us. Us black girls who are beautiful and then tortured because of our beauty. We are not created to be the objects for men to use and abuse only for us to be the blame.. It is a shame that some men are so intimidated by our beauty that they force themselves upon us. It is even more of a shame that our mothers, sisters, and aunts allow it. There are so many of us victims silenced by our abuser and lack of support. We are told that because we look sexy and dress nearly nude we are “asking for it”. Since when has it been okay or usual for a woman to be manipulated into thinking her body is the only way a man can be sane? Can be saved? Can be able to stay… And tolerate our shit. Our anger comes from this. Our sadness and walls comes from the idea that our vaginas are the gateway to boosting a mans ego. It is a shame. And us black girls and women need a voice. A voice that will be able to reach thousands and if not… At least one. So I make it my responsibility to be that voice… For myself, for my daughter… For our future generations. We deserve justice. -- source link
