Control of trade routes and manufacturing facilities worldwide. Millions of chattel wear her family’s seal on their collars. Her family’s money was beyond old even in the first colonial period.  Her blue blood has afforded her only the best education and prepared her well to receive her birthright.. The concept of owning anything that is not the very best in the world is a foreign concept to her. Nothing that should not be expected of a young woman of her impeccable breeding and wealth.  But she is no spoiled little girl. Like her father, she is shrewd and ruthless in all of her dealings. Business and otherwise.  The duchy’s already impressive profits have grown considerably under her guidance.  Her father and mother smile as they watch their perfect daughter prepare the horses for a ride. She would of had her body slave lay out several riding outfits to choose from, each one the cost of a commoner’s home.  Looking cool and casual in a way only royalty can achieve while wearing clothes worth thousands of pounds, she flashed a dazzling smile at her parents as she checked her saddle.  Today she will be entertaining the daughter of an oil-soaked Norwegian noble, whose family is visiting with the hope that the English Duchess-presumptive will find her worthy of marrying.   The fact that she only ever expressed interest in women is of no concern to the Duke. There was no shortage of noble families looking to gain status by offering a daughter to his. It was after all the 22nd century! No one concerned themselves with old and worn out morality.  Besides the wonders of modern technology meant his daughter could easily have an heir of his blood placed inside her new bride.  Her figure was much too perfect to waste on the inconvenience of pregnancy of course. He envied his daughter as he watched statuesque Norwegian girl emerge from the stable.  He only had another afternoon of insufferable boot licking from Count Olaf to look forward too.  His reverie was broken by his wife’s tongue clicking indignantly.  He looked over again and rolled his eyes as the tall blonde dropped a ridiculous curtsy in front of his daughter.  While he tolerated a certain level of groveling, his daughter did not.
