Author’s Note (Please Read!)So I have an announcement before I fly across the country to stay with my aunt for a week, I am writing another story! It’s called Big Changes, and it is teen fiction, not fanfiction. I’ve decided to step out of my comfort zone of writing fanfiction, and start to write a teen fiction book. I will still be continuing to write Dollhouse as well as this.I will be posting the first chapter shortly after I post this, so I would really appreciate it if you guys went and checked it out, I am super excited for it.Here is the synopsis:Seventeen-year-old Farley Faust goes through some big changes in her life. One of those changes is meeting Aster Fox. Now Farley has to decide if that change is good or not.I love you all so much, so I am going to give you a sneak peak of the first chapter! Here it is: … What is it about human nature, that causes people feel the need to tell lies? Is it the fear of the truth being known? Is making something up, somehow better than the reality of the actual situation? Or is it simply the satisfaction of knowing that someone believed you, when what you told them was far from the truth? That is a question, I may never have an answer to. The definition of a lie, according to Google, is; An intentionally false statement, used with reference to a situation involving deception founded on a mistaken impression. Even if the lie is a small one, it’s still deceiving, and based on a mistaken impression. A lie is a lie, no matter how serious it is. Is not telling someone something, which they deserves to know, considered lying? Or is it just considered not telling them one thing that happened? “Alright class, that’s all we’re going to be able to work on today. We’ll continue this tomorrow,” My English teacher, Mr. Wilson announces. I’m disappointed, because I was just starting to get my flow of writing going. Every few weeks Mr. Wilson has us write an essay on something interesting to us. I’ve taken this assignment—that other students might dread—and have learned to look forward to it. I find something in my everyday life, which interests me. Even if it’s a little thing, such as gum chewing, or knuckle popping. Lately I’ve been noticing just how much people lie. Whether it be about if they completed their homework, if they’d watched that movie, or if they liked that song. Lying is an interesting thing, and it’s something that can cause incredible pain. That’s something that terrifies me. …There it is! If you’d like to read more, head on over to my wattpad account, and start reading Big Changes!Thank you, and I love you all so much.-Hannahxx -- source link
