toadschooled: Folks often request to see the fattest, roundest toads on this blog, and while I can’t confirm this is the roundest toad on Earth I do believe we’re approaching critical mass. This is a female cane toad [also known as the marine toad, Rhinella marina] photographed in Costa Rica by Ryan Winkleman. While all toads tend to carry a healthy bit of weight, female toads often appear extra plump due to the presence of eggs. -- source link
