As we head into week 8 (or is it week 9 or week 50 now?) of shelter-at-home, I wonder if this is our “new normal.” I mean, nothing is normal BUT that’s because I’m comparing it to life before … Back when I did editorial assessments for $700–but now, who can afford $700? Maybe this new offer of 75% off–$175–is going to be the new normal? Right now, it expires in a month … (though, like stay-at-home orders, I’m sure I’ll extend it!)Anyway, a read from a pro is good (something I always advise) but a discounted read from a pro???–GREAT! Now, I know your brother-in-law, Bob, volunteered to read/edit for free (& free is better than great, right?!?) & Bob graduated from Harvard with a BA in English (wow!) HOWEVER, Bob went to Harvard in ‘74 (before I was born & the rules of the game have changed) so might I suggest you start investing in yourself?
