The Dudley Bug made in Menominee, Michigan. Albert Dudley was a gymnast from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Moved to Menominee in the 1870’s opening a gun shop, selling and repairing guns. He became interested in bicycles, built bikes, invented & patented a wheel truing stand and patented his adjustable spoke wrench (still being made by Park tools). Albert soon had a bicycle factory. As with many bike makers he became interested in automobiles. The Bug was the culmination of that interest. 100 were supposedly made. -- source link
