kiokushitakaa:since there’s apparently some sort of confusion on the matter (read: people are idiots) Adding this: if the question is “Can I reblog this?” because many people seem to not understand what it means or if it’s bad: Reposting means taking someone else’s work and post it in your own account (sometimes people doesn’t even ask permission or give credits to the real creator which makes it worse), reblog is going to said artist and use the bottom “retweet/reblog” (or save in Instagram) If you are questioning yourself whether you should reblog the answer will always be yes, because you are supporting the content creator without quitting them the credit of being the one who did it, taking it to your account or claiming it as your own and helping them and yourself to reach a large audience and grow (because some people may see what you’re interested in by your reblogs and follow you because of mutual interests; but more importantly others discover an artist/fanfic writer/creator who may be of their liking because of their art style/fandom they make content for/etc and therefore continue the “likes, reblogs and optionally follow” chain) Also, reblogs/retweets/saves are usually more important to the algorithm than likes, so even if giving a like is good reblogs are better. Idk why some people think reposts and reblogs are the same when they’re not, hope this helps -- source link
