farmweather:I often get asked if I miss art. Or when I will start ‘making art’ again. And while I would love more time for reflection (dont we all?) I actually find myself completely art.satisfied without a formal practice. I say it as a joke, but I mean it with complete sincerity, that the entire farm is an ongoing, longterm art project in collaboration with a hillside and a herd of goats (and I think most farmers I know feel that way about their farms). The goats are eating their way through our brushy mountain pastures, transforming them. Along the way they make scribbles on the trees (which always makes our Cy Twombly seem very appropriately named). That we also get fresh, raw, creamy white milk out of the deal continues to amaze. Milk is a beautiful medium. -- source link
