Justine realized almost immediately that she made a *fatal* mistake when she laughed at her stepmother’s threat to spank her if she she continued on her current path.She certainly wasn’t laughing after her mother fulfilled her threat and there was nothing that could be judged as humorous or amusing coming out of her mouth while the spank was going on.
