Pleased to see my painting, Nullius In Verba, is a finalist in the Art Renewal Center Salon! Oil, 24 x 18 in Latin for “on the word of no one” or “take nobody’s word for it”, Nullius in verba is the motto of the oldest national scientific institution, the Royal Society. The society was founded in 1660 and presided over by Sir Isaac Newton from 1703-27.
