The murder of two police officers in NYC by a lone gunman is a tragedy. The absurd politics being played here by the NYPD Sergeants Union is inflammatory, baiting, and outright dangerous. This is a police department using any opportunity to keep social justice and police reform out of the conversation by exploiting the deaths of two police officers.
