The start of a good day I haven’t been around here @lisapalmerart much lately. Work and family obligations have kept me out of the studio for the past month and a half. And though at first that made me sad, it’s been a welcome break. Because I’ve been able to clean out and discard a lot of excess mental baggage that was starting to weigh on my creativity. Also, the break from social media has been very healthy . All along, though, I’ve maintained my self care practices that are essential to my soul: being outside, in nature, engaged with nature, on the river, in the forest, on the meadow, with my animals and all the wildlife, living daily in the rhythms of the sun and the seasons. I’ll be back here soon, with renewed vigor for my art.
