I’ve always been inspired by the way a lot of anime uses colour and light. There’s often a primary, yet muted palette which gives it a hazy feel. I think how technically different something like Trigger’s Promare is to Ghibli’s Spirited Away, yet both have that fresh yet diffused quality to them.
