Todd Nauck. Gone, but never, ever forgotten: Avengers West Coast, the “Wackos.” They were not a “spin off team.” The Avengers split into two teams, that’s what people forget. And this wasn’t a short lived split, Avengers West Coast lasted for a decade.One of my favorite running jokes in this comic is that heroes would randomly show up as guest stars in the book, not because they were fighting evil but just because they happened to coincidentally be on vacation or enjoying the beach in Cali. -- source link
