Hi! Uhm ok. I actually don’t know how to start this post. Like everybody else here, I am starting a new Zine and searching for some submission. But I am not just searching for some submission, just so I can get my Zine full. I am actually very fascinated by the idea, of collaborating with other people on this Globe. I want to see what your ideas are and your focus on things. A example today’s Pop Culture or Mainstream. But Who Am I and what is this Zine about? I am a Graphic Design apprentice living in Switzerland. My passions are Typography, skateboarding and Film Photography. My hobby skateboarding was also the reason how I got in touch with the Zine Culture. These Zines are very wild. For instance the Punk Zines around the 80s. The transmission zine should also be wild. The pages should be filled with experimental art, or any other shit you wanna get rid of. The main theme of these Zine is the 21st Century. How we live in it and how the people thought how it will look like in the 60s, 70s or 80s. Like Stanly Kubrick who thought it could be possible to travel between Planets in 2001. I am also inspired of these old queer Sci-Fi Zines. What I want from you: Feel free to send me any art in common to the zines mentioned above. I am especially interested in: -art collages, -short stories, -photography, -poems, -handwritten pieces, -doodles, -paintings, -illustrations, -etc. Your skill level doesn’t matter. I want creations with ideas behind them. I’d love to include it in my zine. I am specifically looking for topics that are criticizing our Pop Culture.
