New painting!!!! Here’s my (pretty much) finished “Orphan Black” acrylic painting for the Season 4 Fan Art contest hosted by BBC. The deadline for submission is midnight EST tonight, so I may touch some tiny things up, like I’d like to make the blacks blacker. Straight lines (oh, and lettering, lol) when drawing and painting freehand are not my forte so hopefully the imperfections add to the uniqueness of the painting. This one was a pain in my buttocks because of all the detail. I was up until 2am last night. Had to work at 8:30am today…until 7pm so any touch-ups will be last minute. (Actually, I just submitted it because when I do touch-ups to my paintings, there’s usually no end to it and I have to put my foot down somewhere, lol) (AND, sorry I haven’t posted in a LOOOOONGGG time. I’ve kind of had to abandon social media to focus on my art. Having a table to sell my art at Phoenix Comicon has always been a dream for me and I’ve been doing it for 2 years now, so I’m trying to stay dedicated to creating new stuff in my free time, when I’m not working :) ) -- source link
