Conventions are brilliant places to meet new friends, but the wait between them can be painful. Why wait until 2019, when you can meet new friends all year round?Enter, TFNation: The Gathering. A new selection of social meetups which we will be rolling out over the coming year. Paying homage to the fandom’s rich history of social get-togethers, these Gatherings will be free to attend events, where friends new and old can meet and socialise. They are a great way to bridge the gap between conventions, but also act as a first step for those wanting to meet like-minded fans before taking their first convention plunge!Our first Gathering will take place on Saturday 6th October 2018, in London, England. Our base of operations will be the Penderel’s Oak Weatherspoon in the Holborn area.
