Working on some repeat patterns.I don’t know if no one is entering the Spoonflower trompe l'oeil design challenge… or if I was just bad at guessing the tag? But there are presently maybe 5 entries where it was understood that trompe l'oeil means photo realistic rendering and not optical illusion. Ouch.Mind you, most of the people entering these design challenges are generating flat color vector doodle art, so, expecting something to look photo realistic from that skill-set may be a bridge too far? Maybe I’ll get lucky and there won’t be 900 entries this time.Anyway, birds on bark was my original idea. Butterflies on zinnias is my backup plan. -- source link
