I’ve spent some time thinking about why the ‘babygirl’ look is attractive to me, for a few reasons. It’s not some sort of transferred desire for younger girls, superimposed on an older woman so as to make it morally right and legally justifiable, I’m fairly sure. Instead, I think it’s, again, to do with contrast and conflict. Drama is conflict, and drama keeps things interesting, so I’m probably going to keep talking about it as a source of interest and excitement for quite some time, I’m afraid. Anyway, the conflict within the look emerges from a deep understanding of the girl or woman wearing these clothes, those pigtails. If I didn’t know her, know that she’s intelligent, smart, sophisticated and elegant, I don’t think there’d be that attraction there, that desire to dress her up in a plaid skirt and a hairband. It’s that knowledge that drives the conflict, allows me to have her as this, in her mind, and this, in her body. It applies to the attitudes and terms you use when talking, as well, although that’s even more tricky. But, at its foundations, it’s that juxtaposition that drives the attraction. Conflict at the root of all kink, at least with regards to myself. -- source link
