Oh my gosh I picked this up unheard from a local shop because I’ve never heard Fela that doesn’t rule. And this rules. It’s a compilation for the US and European markets—Fela tended to make records with one fifteen-ish minute song per side, and this one just combines two late-70s/early-80s records into one by putting both sides of the originals onto one side each of this disc. And it’s a scorcher. I think I prefer side 1 (Sorrow Tears and Blood & Colonial Mentality) over side 2 (a somewhat truncated ITT).
