I’ve been having a little think about why I select the pictures I select to reblog. Some are simple, and obvious, in their reasons. But others just have a certain something, that I’m sure the French have a perfect phrase for.  I’m starting to think it’s the pictures that are casually erotic, as if taken in a snapshot, when the girl isn’t entirely aware that she’s under the lens. It’s ridiculous, as they’re all clearly posed for, but then we believe actors on the television, so a certain suspension of disbelief is acceptable.  We want to believe in the reality of these shots, not the false lighting and set up of each one. Because, if we have that reality, we have the fantasy, too. And that’s something to be enjoyed and savoured. -- source link
