studylustre: hello hello!! this was a highly requested post and since my skincare routine has changed a little since my last post, i figured i would share my updated routine with you all here we go!! cleanser: neogen green tea cleanser exfoliator: glossier solution (i only use this once a day, usually at daytime. i’ve found its helped to fade my acne scars a little, but idk if i will be repurchasing this as i haven’t noticed a huge difference. also, if y’all use this, make sure you use spf!! it contains aha and other acids which makes your skin v sensitive to sunlight, so double up on the suncream) toner: lush eau roma water essence: missha time revolution (nighttime only) the ordinary 2% retinoid in squalane - y’all this has made such a HUGE difference for my skin. its cleared it up so much and its made a noticeable difference in the amount of breakouts i have. when i do break out (which is fairly rare now thanks to this) they’re fairly small and disappear quite quickly. if you’re curious about incorporating retinoids in your routine, please do some research on it bc it can be a tricky thing to start using!! it takes time to work into your routine and it has to be used carefully otherwise it can make your skin worse, but if it’s used properly it makes your skin brighter, clearer and a lot more buoyant. huxley secret of sahara light and more oil (this does a great job of moisturising my skin and it doesn’t break me out, but idk if i will repurchase this bc it makes my skin look a little oily and it sits on the skin for a looooong time) (daytime only) thank you farmer water sun cream - this gives my skin such a nice glow and it doesn’t clog up my pores or have that gross suncream smell. it also absorbs really quickly and it feels v light, so i highly recommend this!! (nighttime only) laneige water sleeping mask + perfect renew eye cream - doesn’t break me out, feels super refreshing to put on and sinks in fairly quickly. i feel like it also cleared up my skin a bit when i first started using it a year ago, so 10/10 would recommend!! for breakouts: cosrx pimple patchess: a freakin GODSEND for clearing up spots. i’ve found it only really works when its already come to a head, whenever i have a break out, i put it on and go to bed and overnight it just disappears. these are so hyped about and i can definitely see why bc they’re cheap and effective!! kate somerville eradikate: v similar to the much hyped about mario badescu drying lotion. whenever you break out (or feel an incoming breakout), put this wherever you need it and it’ll help to reduce redness and prevent pimples. it also works on existing pimples that haven’t come to a head yet - it does a really good job of just getting rid of spots, so 10/10 would recommend!! so that’s all there is to my skincare routine!! please let me know if you’d like to see one for my fave makeup items or something else, and feel free to send me an ask if you’d like more information on any of these items!! -- source link
