But really…Ive been neglecting myself…I’m exhausted…burning the flames at both ends…nearly burnt out exhausted…adulting is hard…momming is hard…partnering is hard…I need a break…and I never give myself one or allow myself to take one whenever help is offered…which kills my fiance because all he wants to do is help and give me the love and support that I need…it’s hard for me to accept help and to ask for help..asking for help makes me feel weak like I can’t do it…my ENTIRE life I’ve had to be independent and self-reliant…I learned pretty quickly and at a really young age not to depend too much on anyone…if you need shit done just do it yourself…letting others see me sweat… admitting that I need help…those are just things I don’t do…I am so busy trying to be superwoman and giving and doing and trying to make sure that everyone else is happy and taken care of that I forgot to leave anything for me….and what good am I to anyone if I’ve burnt myself ALL the way out in the process? #selfcare is such a #real and #necessary thing…I need a mental break…or a whole entire vacation…hell I would just take a few hours at a spa…anywho…the moral of this long story is to take care of yourself…self care is IMPORTANT and NECESSARY…even if it’s just an hour a day or an hour a week…Do one thing…anything that makes you happy and is just for you . #selfcare #doyou #takecareofyourself #selflove #loveyourself -- source link
