I’m going to take a moment to tell you about miss THANG @theshaunabrooks. I woke up this morning to such a loving message from her on her IG feed, and I feel it’s only right to return the favor ❤️ I met Shauna via IG back in 2014 after she approached me about interviewing her for any of the platforms I contributed to. In 2015, I interviewed her for @ebonymagazine Digital to educate the world about the struggles of Black Trans Women. Shauna opened my eyes to A LOT, especially when I dug deeper into her history as a Trans Sex Worker. . . Ever since, Shauna and I have been close. She was my second guest on my radio show on @playboy_radio , and we’ve had some fun times together. I’ve been there for Shauna through some pretty rough times. You wouldn’t even be able to begin to understand what trans women of color have to go through ESPECIALLY when they are unapologetic about being sex workers and PreOp. . . She has BIG dreams and has an even higher heart, and literally gives her last to help others. And she has a million dollar mind and is a hustler like no other. She has successfully made a name for herself without the help of mainstream managers or publicists and continues to push for her dreams no matter how many obstacles are placed in her way.
