halftheskymovement: 6-year-old Parker Dains of California did not like what she discovered on the back of a library book she had checked out about insects— the title of the book series was Biggest Baddest Books for Boys. Dains promptly sent the above letter of complaint to ABDO Publishing Co., the company behind the book series. A few weeks later Dains received a response: “You brought up a very good point: there should certainly be a Biggest, Baddest Books for Boys for everyone. After all, girls can like ‘boy’ things too!
