Deviantart has a mer tutorial for a badge, and it gave me an excuse to do some art for mermay. Made some alterations to the original pose from the tutorial (it was a very basic tutorial for beginners, I just wanted the badge lmao)I was unsure what to take for inspiration, either a Betta (I associated it with Vi, lol) or a Shark (Silco). I ended up doing a sort of Crowntail Betta, with some subtle shark hints here and there. -- source link
