Finally, right before showtime, he came out and headed to the stage. Not before hearing my voice saying, “hey Phil, you got a minute?”. He walked straight over to me even though his manager was urging him to get to the stage. He took the time to sign this record, my copy of Down’s ‘Nola’, and chat for a bit.
