omgsomeonesomewhereonearth: imperatoralicia: In my asshole Joja playthrough, I accidentally got the Wizard up to one heart, so before the end of the second year, I had to keep coming to his tower so that I could give him awful gifts to get rid of the heart. Imagine you’re a wizard in a tower and the rich business lady who moved into town almost two years ago keeps coming over and handing you a single clump of disgusting fish bait, twice a week, for several weeks. Each time, you hate her more, and each time, she seems happier about that. Then, when you feel like you couldn’t possibly hate her more and you honestly don’t know what you’ll do if she comes to your door one more time and interrupts your arcane studies with her banal refuse, she stops. Forever. You never see her again. I utterly support your campaign to stay true to your asshole role by bullying the local wizard, but um, you didn’t need to do that? At any heart level below 10 (8 for romanceable npcs that you don’t choose to date), your friendships with villagers will just decay if you don’t talk to them. Again, I support you and your decisions 100%…but you totally could have just like, ignored him into hating you. Yep, I know this. It was already Winter of Year 2 though, and I needed to disappoint my grandfather as much as I could. -- source link
