Our first Amnesty NPC for my hypothetical Adventure Zone platform fighter, Minerva! Let’s dig into her moveset, shall we? Minerva is, without a doubt, one of the heaviest hitters in the roster. Her main drawback is her fairly low speed, but if you manage to master her special moves, even this can be overcome. Most of Minerva’s specials rely on her neutral special. Pressing the button places a portal wherever she is. Pressing the button again will place a new portal as the old one fades away. Using her side or up special will also use up the portal and a new one will need to be placed. Minerva’s side special has her thrust forward with her sword. If she has a portal active, it will strike through the portal, damaging whoever is on the other end, after which the portal will vanish. If there’s no portal, it’s just a strong sword thrust. Minerva’s down special is a counter. She dashes backwards and briefly summons her astral form in her place. If the astral projection is struck, Minerva will rush forward and strike. If Minerva has an active portal, her up special will cause her to jump through it, wherever it is, swinging her sword as the portal vanishes. If she has no portal, she will simply swing her sword overhead and do a small hop. Minerva’s finale targets the nearest foe. She will disappear from wherever she is, before suddenly flying forth from a wormhole in the foe’s head.The wormhole’d foe will take massive damage, and anyone in her path as she flies forth will as well. -- source link
