i slept outside more than i care to remember. On good nights i got to sleep on the patio. Bad nights i slept in the kennels. The kennels housed Her 4 dogs; 2 male shepards, 1 male irish setter and one female golden lab. There were 2 kennels. Both had big outdoor spaces enclosed by 8 foot fencing and smaller enclosures inside the garage. Dog doors connected the inside and out. The female had her own enclosure. During the day the dogs had run of the yard that was encircled by invisible fencing. i hated my kennel time. It was always a fight for food and a place to sleep. i slept so often outdoors because the males had their own sleeping spaces and wouldn’t make room or one or two would start to get frisky and i would go out trying to get away. The dogs never respected me. i would be crying so bad every morning when my Daughter would come out to feed us and open the kennels. She would usually bring me a piece of cheese or a cookie. She really did (does) love me. -- source link
