I’ve been wanting to use star shaped sequins for a while and was so excited to finally get these Star Nail Sequins (in selection “colorful”) from @bornprettystore-blog. They are pretty standard, the pot comes stock full of the sequins. The pot contains two sizes of stars in red, gold, silver, purple, and blue. I loved that there was variation in the size in this package as it just gives you more options. At first, I thought the colors left something to be desired (although I did love that you get gold and silver as well as the colored ones in this pot). The photo on the bornpretty site shows a far greater variety of colors included in this “colorful” pack (it looks like there are also green, orange, and pink sequins in their photos). This could just be a result of lighting in the photos, but definitely be aware of that if you are looking to buy these. After using these on my nail I came to like the colors a lot more as the different way the light hits them really makes them look less like basic primary colors. So overall I’m happy with these.I tend to not love the feel of having 3d studs and rhinestones on my nails, despite how much I love the look of them. Since I don’t do gel/acrylic nails, these items tend to just be a constant worry for me. This is why I prefer sequins. These sequins do stick up a bit on the edges since they have points and such, but I have to imagine that if I pressed them into the top coat and used a thicker coat to seal them in that this would be less of an issue. Overall, I am quite a fan of these sequins and I can’t wait to keep using them.To see my nails using this product, see here: XFor an even better deal, use Born Pretty Store 10% off code: BEHHQ10 -- source link
