Ever since I saw it and commented on it I was just, “Well I have to draw it now” lol (guess this also serves the purpose of showing my age gap headcanon for these two as well, I hardly ever see a teen Nala in art)Basically in this little visual I had, Nuka used to have this unexplainable massive crush on Nala as a cub. Nala doesn’t seem to know what to do with this information and handles it rather awkwardly. She’s at least flattered by the gesture but has no idea how to let the kid down gentlyNow that I think of it, after reading about reasons why one would have a crush on their babysitter, they list attention as one of the reasons and I can totally imagine that Nuka’s doing this not realizing he adores attention, especially around this time now that Zira seems to only really be focused on some more little ones arriving soon -- source link
