Tank destroyer tank review! The SU-122-44 is in no way like the tank it’s based on, the T-44 medium. It’s 122mm cannon has a very impressive 7.5 rounds per minute. That’s an 8 second reload! It’s accuracy of 0.41 makes it possible to snipe even at ranges where an IS’s 122mm gun becomes irrelevent. It’s great mobility coupled with a top speed of about 48km/h gives this tank the neccessary means of supporting multiple flanks in short notice. However, it’s armor can only ricochet so many shot until it becomes useless and make the td an easy kill with only 840 hit points. So stay in cover or dense bushes to surprise your enemies. Overall, the SU-122-44 is one tank destroyer to stay clear of. -- source link
