Tess hefted her backpack up onto her shoulders as she made her way up the stairs and onto the bus. The mouse had been waiting at the station for nearly an hour, and while she still had a long trip ahead of her, at least now she would be able to get some sleep. She hurried up the steps into the bus, not wanting her tail to get caught in the door behind her. The bus driver, a male canine, looked down at her. He towered over the tiny mouse, even while sitting. “Got your ticket?” He asked, keeping his voice low. “Right here, sir,” she said, scanning the ticket on a small barcode scanner near the driver. “Alright, looks like everything’s in order,” the driver says. “You probably know, but this is an intermediate stop and we’ve still got a long way to go. Since it’s getting late, we’ve already dimmed the interior lights and we’d like to ask that you try to make as little noise as possible.” “Of course, of course. Thank you!” Tess flashes him a smile, before she makes her way down the aisles. Sure enough, the seats are already mostly full, but there should be at least one empty one for her: this was a long trip, and they weren’t going to make people stand. Sure enough, she soon found an open seat next to a pregnant feline. Knowing that the driver was probably waiting on her, she stashed her backpack under the seat in front of her, scrambled into her own large seat, and buckled herself in. Tess felt the engine rev, and the bus pulled out of the station, continuing on its multi-hour journey. She was still settling in and getting comfortable when she felt fur bump against her right arm. Tess jumped, then looked at the seat next to hers. “I’m sorry, Miss!” She said, her town apologetic. “I didn’t mean to…” Tess trailed off as her eyes took in her seat mate. The feline was not pregnant. She was leaning back in her seat, not asleep, but clearly relaxed. She had dark grey fur, with a lighter strip running from her lower lip, down her neck, chest, and to her belly. Tess could see this because she appeared to be wearing a sports bra, rather than a shirt, as well as a pair of jeans covering what Tess could see of her legs. And her gut was absolutely enormous. It filled the feline’s lap, spilling over the armrests and pushing out so far it was touching the seat in front of her. The bulge occasionally writhed and squirmed, and Tess could make out muffled, indistinct shouts coming from inside. Tess stared at it, her muscles frozen and tense, her eyes wide. She almost didn’t notice that the feline was talking to her. She looked up, blinking. “Huh?” “I said, sorry about her,” the feline repeated, keeping her voice polite and quite. She was looking down at her stomach, running both hands gently over the wriggling bulge. “I probably shouldn’t have eaten such a big dinner. It’s been hours; I didn’t realize she would still be fighting this much.” “O-oh.” Tess swallowed hard. “I-it’s okay. No problem.” “Good!” The feline responded. “I didn’t intend to make anyone uncomfortable.” “R-right. Of course.” Tess tried to sink as far as she could into her seat. There was no way she was going to be sleeping now, of course, but maybe if she just ignored the feline and her full stomach she could make it through this. That proved to be easier said than done. The feline had her eyes closed, but she was clearly not asleep. Her hands continued to rove over her stomach, touching, caressing, and occasionally pushing down, causing whoever was in there to shift. The feline was also purring loudly, perhaps without realizing it. The feline was clearly enjoying the frantic squirms of whoever was in there, and Tess found it nearly impossible to keep her eyes off of that squirming belly. Finally, Tess was unable to contain the question that filled her mind. “Who… who is she?” The cat opened her eyes, glancing down at the little mouse. For a moment, Tess worried she had offended her, but the feline smiled. “Another cat. I don’t know her name. She was waiting at the same bus stop I was,” the feline said. “I hadn’t eaten dinner yet, and she looked so tasty I just had to have her. Plus, you know, long trip, so I thought it’d be nice to get to enjoy her for the ride.” Tess felt a little shiver go through her body at the words “enjoy her.” She nodded. “I s-see. J-just like that, huh?” The feline’s lips peeled back in a toothy grin. “Just like that.” Tess swallowed hard. “Now, I’m sure you’re thinking ‘at least she’s not hungry,’” the feline said. Then she leaned in, over Tess’ seat. This had the effect of causing that bulging gut to spill out even further over the armrest, partially resting in Tess’ lap. It also brought the feline’s mouth close to Tess’ ear. The feline’s voice was a whisper, the soft breath tickling Tess’ fur. “But this is a long trip. I might need a little snack later.” Tess felt like her body had turned to stone. She couldn’t move her limbs, and she could feel the squirming, struggling prey beneath the layers of the feline’s fur and flesh. Her heart pounded in her chest. Then the feline pulled back, settling into her seat again and closing her eyes. “Maybe,” she said, running her fingers over her belly again. Tess gasped, letting out a breath she didn’t even realize she had been holding. This was going to be a long trip. Hey, I tried something pretty new! I did the final stage entirely with the Lasso and Fill tool, creating this lineless effect. What do ya’ll think? I’m pretty pleased with the results and I think I want to do more like this in the future. -- source link
