What is it with kids and taking off Barbie heads? I honestly don’t think I did this as a kid, but I might be the exception. My MIL has a bag-full of passed-down Barbie dolls and accessories from the 80s and 90s. As soon as the girls go to her house and visit, that bag is out, dumped on the floor – and played with for hours. Yet … most of the Barbies don’t have heads! Does that stop them? Nope! I’ve said before that it’s all about the clothes with my girls, and this is proof. They are completely happy playing with headless Barbie dolls , changing their attire and taking them to the ball {Halloween ball, perhaps? Where’s her horse when we need it}. “See Mom? She can still wear hats!” my daughter proudly boasted. “Sweetie, her head is right there behind you. Want me to put that back on?” “Nope!” This is true imagination and the beauty of kid-play. You just never know where it will lead. My Organized Chaos | #BarbieProject Tumblr Takeover -- source link
