I made my 2018 resolutions at winter solstice, but I thought I would share them with you guys now that we have entered the new year. I actually only have one resolution: to take better care of myself. This is split into 3 parts: physically, mentally and career-wise. Physically my boyfriend and I have made a promise of healthier, cleaner eating. It’s not like we’ve ever been very unhealthy, but we want to do better. We also won’t drink any alcohol outside weekends, and even on weekends only for special occasions. I am also gonna start biking further again, I really miss it and so does my body. 2 months without biking further than to the grocery store has left its mark. I’ll bike most of the way to school, every day in 2018! That’ll be 17km a day ✨ Mentally, I want to say ‘no’ more, especially to social arrangements that I don’t have the energy for. I want to focus more on my goals and less on pleasing random people. In terms of career I want to finish the last semester of my education, and get a part time job that I hopefully love and at least like. It just has to pay the bills and leave me time to focus on my passions ❤️ All in all I need to listen more and demand less of myself. I talk so much about sustainability, but that’s not just an outwards thing. It includes me too. I think I’m on a good path and I hope to stay there in 2018 ❤️ I wish for strength to not let others tell me how I should live my life, and to listen to and love myself, every day. And I also want to be even more sustainable! But that’s not just a new years thing, I try to do that every day ☺️ Whew, long post!
