“Just to state the obvious (since I already saw some stuff that had me go 0_0): Vanitas using she/her pronouns for Luna and Misha using he/him pronouns for Luna isn’t them misgendering Luna or being transphobic. Luna let’s them use she/her and he/him pronouns. Being Non-binary doesn’t mean you can only go by they/them. The thing with Vanitas and Misha is that they’re just projecting the gender of the parent they never had on Luna (they’re lonely orphaned kids who just want a mom/dad since they never had one to fill that role) and Luna is shown to be completely fine with that! The only reason these two even went so long with assuming that Luna was a woman (Vanitas) or a man (Misha) was because Luna never saw it as a problem they had to correct until they started arguing about it. Luna is she/they/he and the whole point of the conversation they had with Vanitas and Misha was to let them know this. Please don’t be weird and make a problem out of nothing when the character at hand is completely comfortable and accepting of the pronouns their kids refer to them as.“ -- source link
