Nude Public Why shouldn’t people have the freedom to wonder around without clothing? Bare bodies can’t hurt people. In fact they can actually help. “Are you crazy! Think of the children who will be mentally scared!” Right. Those same children who like to go nude at the drop of a hat? Those same children who were just weaned? Those same children whose curiosity lasts less than two seconds and could care less what someone is wearing or not?Seeing human bodies for what they are and not as the media portrays them is one of the most healthy things a society can do for children. Instead of burying then in a fantasy, children who know what bodies actually look like can see their own bodies as beautiful and they they aren’t much different from others. Isn’t fitting in with peers and working together what school was partially about anyway? (Pro-Tip: Parents should be nude around their children at home to help encourage a healthy mindset of what a body should be.) “But it’s unhealthy and can open the body to disease and injury.” And how well does your clothing protect you against cuts and bruises from the world we live in? Not ignoring that point, but changing the focus to nudists who take their clothes off the minute they get home from work actually have less of a chance of getting sick. This is because clothing collects all the grime and grudge from the day. People who don’t get undressed end up sitting around in all that pollution and smog long after the day is over. It smells and can cause skin irritation and serious health issues later down the line. Nudists just wash it off and stay clean. (Pro-tip: Wearing less clothing means less laundry and that lessens our environmental impact in the long run.) “Public Nudity is indecent! Who wants to see someone else’s privates! They must be exhibitionists!” Not at all. In fact, most nudists I know keep to themselves. Those that hang out socially nude with each other usually don’t look at the body, much less in a sexual way. In fact, being nude with others is almost the least sexual activity there is. One reason is that most nudists are not trying to show off. They are not wearing dresses with plunging necklines to draw the eye. They are not wearing tight pants that show off bulges. They just are. And one body looks a lot like another after awhile. (Pro-tip: Nudists are usually more honest with each other because they are free of the social barriers that clothing usually represent.) ***So what has been learned? The nudists are usually healthy, well-adjusted people that don’t have the hangups that most textiles live with. That’s not to say there aren’t some exceptions and that there aren’t some people who can’t make the jump from a textile mindset to a nudist one. But that is why legitimate nudists clubs take on the responsibility of running background checks on it members to screen out people that would make clubs unsafe for others. And they have policies for reporting and removing abusive individuals. It’s all about protection and safety for all. So if you are unsure of living a nudist life, start out by sleeping without clothing for a month or two. See how your healthy is afterwards (please use blankets and stay warm if the weather is cold. Don’t need to catch a chill.). It may be hard to go back to wearing clothing that constricts and rubs all night long.Nudism catches on easily because it’s so easy to do. It’s naturally what our body’s were designed for. So enjoy the skin you’re in! Text by me.
