Actually it would just be sexier in general if mochijun had made vanitas’s gender more ambiguous. He’s already presented pretty ambiguously, so if mochijun had topped it up a notch and never explicitly stated if he was male, or ever even revealed a gender, having different characters have different perception of his gender like she’s doing with luna… it would just have been such a sexy and brave concept to do for a protagonist.
