I just returned from two weeks in Egypt where I taught a short course at the American University in Cairo with students from Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Syria, Germany, France, and the US. It was my first time teaching policy professionals, which was incredibly nerve-wracking, but my students were engaged, inquisitive, and passionate about migration and refugee policy, which made my job easy.
