acrylic painting of the chicken that lived on my street for like 9 months in 2021 she lived next to the car wash, across from a chicken restaurant. no one knew where she came from but ppl on my block took care of her. eventually a kind neighbor caught her after much difficulty and brought her to a farm in the cascade mountains where she can run free in the fields. seeing her out on the sidewalks and being unabashedly FREE brought me joy in a personally terrible year. this chicken DGAF. <3 -- source link
