tvickiesims:tvickiesims:tvickiesims:So the cage is starting giving me a headache. In order for the animation to play properly on a lowered cage, I have to lower its skeleton too (in blue). But each time I try to select all and move it down all together, the skeleton part gets distorted:Do you guys know a way to just move the mesh down while preserving the form of the skeleton, just putting it lower too? Thanks to ever-so-fabulous @deedee-sims I managed to lower the skeleton, yay! But… For some reason SimPe refuses to see the modifications I’ve made:I exported the modified mesh via Unimesh Exporter, but I guess it doesn’t come with bones information? Wonderful @balkopat kindly proposed her help and with her advice I managed to correct the skeleton placement (for anyone interested, it’s done via the CRES, you have to change the bones’ coordinates just like for the slots) and now the womrat appears in its cage. A bit lower than it should, but inside.Unfortunately, other animations like opening of the door and the feeder don’t seem to work for now. I’ll continue my research on animations For now I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to @deedee-sims and @balkopat for guiding me. Very valuable information to keep in mind. -- source link
