It manifests as the blackthorne, which proves untreatably lethal, except by way of the Reiken’s healing Miracles. Symptoms include nausea, insomnia, delirium, anxiety, exhaustion, migraines, and bouts of blindness. As the body begins to break down, certain functions are overtaken by the blackthorne and are lost.
