I’m kind of obsessed with this at the moment.The first time I read Dracula it was alone in a farmhouse in deepest Wales. I was about 12 and everyone else had gone out. I was reading by oil lamp just to get into the mood and doing everything I could to lean into the horror. Obviously I scared the bejesus out of myself.Now I’m reading it collectively on the internet with 100k+ other people who are all going ‘bless you Johnathon you beautiful dumbarse’ and it’s clearly a comedy. -- source link
