One day they came upon a primordial magical artifact, an Origin, and claimed its power. That proved too much for their earthly vessel to contain, consuming it until their form was that of an elemental. With the power of the Origin at their disposal, Magus left reality to explore their new powers, forming new pocket realities on a whim, enjoying the creative freedom.
