spacecapart: Inktober day 24: Sam Vimes (Night Watch) A repeat character today, because I couldn’t draw characters introduced in Night Watch without including Vimes’s younger self. I tend to draw older Vimes with quite a big nose and big ears, and it’s fun to exaggerate that on his 30+ years younger self, as if he’s not quite grown into his face yet. And, if I focus on making him a bit goofy and endearing looking, it distracts me from thinking about the decades of misery that he’s going to have to live through before things get any better, the poor kid. -- source link
