Authors and artists will be paired together to create their works, but here’s the catch: they’ll have no idea who they’ve been paired with. Let the trouble begin!SchedulePrompting: March 15th - April 1st, 2021Claiming for artists: April 1st - May 1st, 2021Submission for artists: May 1st, 2021Claiming for authors: May 1st - May 15th, 2021Submission for authors: July 1st, 2021Reveals: July 15th, 2021Each prompt will be claimed twice, once by an author and once by an artist. Artists will claim their prompts first and create their artwork, which will then be sent to the author who claimed the same prompt. Authors will write their entries for the fest based on their partner’s artwork, and both will soon be revealed!RulesFor prompters:1. Prompting will begin on March 15th. You may submit as many prompts as you like.2. Prompts must be in the form of ‘criteria - criteria - criteria’. Example: Eighth Year - Muggle Studies - Baking.3. Prompts that have not been claimed by artists by May 1st will be deleted so that no author is left without an artist partner.Sign up here to submit your prompts!For artists:1. Claiming will begin on April 1st. Each prompt can only be claimed only once by an artist, so please do not claim a prompt that has already been claimed.2. You are welcome to claim a prompt until the submission date for artwork, which is May 1st.3. Artwork may be either traditional/digital paintings or photo manipulations. Moodboards will not be accepted, at least this time around. Please try to include as many criteria of the prompt as you can in your work. Sexually explicit artwork is not allowed as your anonymous author partner may not be comfortable writing such themes.4. Try not to disclose to anyone which prompt is yours, as this is meant to be a surprise until reveals. You may, however, add a watermark to your painting if you would like to.5.
