At the end of your resume, put a personal statement - and use the job description as a template: Copy it in, and then modify it to read about you!For example, “we are looking for a team player who enjoys a dynamic work environment and this fast-paced retail outlet” becomes “I am a team player who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced work, and have a passion for retail.” All the key words in a paragraph (and if you can, include an Ex: “which is why I took [job] in [town][dates]. Now, if you’re applying for hundreds of jobs this might seem exhausting, but the truth is that companies ALSO copy and paste their job descriptions. The same key words keep showing up!
